Donate online
We are grateful for all donations. You would be helping to support the main objective of the Society – promoting scientific research and preservation of monuments in Ephesos.
Tax deduction
Donations to the Society of Friends of Ephesos are tax-deductible as a special expense under the Austrian Income Tax Act, as the non-profit association is listed as a charitable organization.
Of course, anonymous donations can still be made.
If you wish to claim your donation to the Society of the Friends of Ephesos for tax purposes, we require your first and last name as well as your date of birth on the payment slip or when paying online.
We must report this data in encrypted form to the tax authorities so that your donation can be deducted from your taxes. Please ensure that the spelling of your name matches the spelling in the Central Register of Residents (‘Meldezettel’).
The deductibility of donations is limited in amount:
-
Donations from private individuals are tax-deductible as special expenses up to 10% of the total income for the respective year.
-
Donations in kind and monetary donations from companies are deductible as operating expenses up to 10% of profits (before taking into account the profit allowance).
